Reflection
Who is not tired these days?
Tired from work, responsibilities, bills, family concerns, bad news, traffic, expectations, and sometimes even tired of pretending that everything is okay. There are days when we simply want to say, “Lord, kapoy na.”
And in today’s Gospel, Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Jesus does not promise a life without problems. He offers something deeper: the comfort of knowing that we do not carry everything alone. God’s love gives us a place to rest when life becomes too heavy. In prayer, in silence, in the Eucharist, and sometimes through the people He sends into our lives, He reminds us that we are loved and accompanied.
We may still wake up tomorrow with the same responsibilities and problems. But when the heart finds rest in God, we find the strength to continue.
So if you are tired today, come to Jesus as you are. Sometimes the most honest prayer is simply, “Lord, kapoy na ko. Please stay with me.”

Brothers and sisters:
You are not in the flesh;
on the contrary, you are in the spirit,
if only the Spirit of God dwells in you.
Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.
If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,
the one who raised Christ from the dead
will give life to your mortal bodies also,
through his Spirit that dwells in you.

we are not debtors to the flesh,
to live according to the flesh.
